Abstract

A detailed chorological analysis of the distribution of Leucanthemella serotina (L.) Tzvelev is given, namely in Slovakia where the species has the absolute northern limit of its distribution. The total distribution area of this Pannonian-Danubian endemic species is also considered. Ecological characteristics and the complete survey of localities of the species in Slovakia are provided. L. serotina is a threatened taxon; it is confined to the habitats currently undergoing rapid changes.
