Nomenclatural novelties in chroococcalean cyanoprokaryotes

Abstract

Recent taxonomic revisions of cyanoprokaryotes have to be respected in preparation of the manuscript of the European monographic review and identification key of chroococcalean cyanoprokaryotes for the compendium Stisswasserflora von Mitteleuropa. Sixty one nomenclatural transfers are needed and five new species have to be defined. Names of ten supraspecific taxa are established.
