Digitali ambiguae-Calamagrostietum arundinaceae Sill. 1933 – eine Hochgras- oder Schlagflur-Gesellschaft?

Primary sub-xerothermophilous and secondary clearcut communities with Calamagrostis arundinacea and Digitalis grandijlora are compared with similar communities dominated by Calamagrostis arundinacea from Slovakia. These communities are being classifted into the same association Digitali ambiguae-Calamagrostietum arundinaceae Sillinger 1933, either within the Calamagrostion arundinaceae or Epilobion angustifolii alliances. According to the tloristic composition, synecology and syngenesis of these communities, the original classification of this association in the sense of Sillinger is advocated. Two new sub-associations, sedetosum carpaticae and caricetosum tatrorum, are described. The classification of clearing communities within the Epilobio angust(folii-Calamagrostietum arundinaceae is proposed.
