Abstract

Communities dominated by Pinus mugo on mineral soils in the Czech Republic are reviewed. Floristic, ecological and chorological characteristics of the associations Myrtillo-Pinetum mughi. Athyrio distentifolii-Pinetum mugo and their subassociations are given. Athyrio distentifolii-Pinetum mugo is included into a newly proposed alliance Athyrio alpestris-Pinion mughi.
