Abstract

During the floristic investigations in tho territory of Mt. Kráľova hoľa (Nízke Tatry Mts.), 284 taxa of higher plants were found. Moreover, the present occurrence of 67 taxa, given in the literature, is probable. The greatest species diversity is concentrated to the kars - Veľký Brunov Kar and Martalúzka Kar, where also the species having not been found so for in thc wide surroundings of the Mt. Kráľova hoľa were recorded (Pedicularis hacquetii, P. verticillata, Rhodiola rosea, Luzula x slovaca). The findings of Epilobium nutans and Botrychium multifidum represent the second present locality in Slovakia.
